MSAA Launches interactive CD-ROM
on the Life of Bl. Candida Maria de Jesus

Those who would like to avail of the CDs (Life Story, Quizzes, and Games for Nursery to Grade 6) may e-mail the_manresa_alumni
@yahoo.com. Proceeds will go to the outreach programs of Manresa as well as the upgrading of computers in the Grade School and Pre-school Departments.

The 1st Manresa Golf Invitational Cup

Despite October’s notoriety for torrential rains, the Manresa School Alumni Association braved the odds and held the First Manresa Invitational Golf Cup last October 27, 2006 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club, Dasmarinas, Cavite. The Hijas de Jesus nuns led by Sr. Rebecca Loreto, f.i, Sr. Nelida Penaflorida, f.i., and Sr. Pacita Legaspi, f.i. must have stormed heaven with their prayers for the rains started pouring only when all the players had already entered Palmer
Hall for the Awarding Ceremony.

Thanks to all the sponsoring batches and companies, all the players went home with prizes of different shapes, sizes, and functions. Rainiel Viola, a Manresa Batch 1993 alumnus, went home with the grand prize, a 25-inch TV. Meanwhile, Wolen Superal, a fourteen year-old student of Manresa School, emerged the Over-all Champion, aside from garnering the Longest Drive Award.
